Lighter Later

It's 9:35 and the sun is still strong. Supposedly the sun should have set 5 minutes ago but it's not asleep yet. So I'm enjoying the setting sun with my gas if wine and season 1 of Dexter.

BTW - the car is all fixed. The guys at the shop fixed my tired and put it back under the car for me. They also showed me the 3rd fuse box that the car manual DIDN'T mention since the blower was a freaking fuse again.

Nerd-Alert

Last night I had this urge... to play Monopoly. Now you can't play on your own. I texted a friend and said "is it weird I REALLY wanna play Monopoly right now?" within seconds the response came... "NO! when do you wanna play". So less than 24 hours later, I have a group of ~4 people and we're making plans to play tonight. I have some kick-ass friends who accept and embrace the nerdy side of life... Love it!

Thought it was somewhat culturally relevant. It seems it was done by a high school in Toksook Bay (where we have one of our Sub-Regional Clinics, it's a little larger than many other villages).

Pop, crack

One of the worst things about spring... The ice melting, popping and creaking on the roof. If I'm not quite asleep it wakes me up, if I'm awake it makes me nervous that something is falling apart.

This happens way too often, but happy ending this time.
